Its pretty simple really. First you have to locate the navigation DVD player itself. The navigation system DVD players are either underthe front seats or behind the navigation screen. All you have to do to update the GPS system is remove the old GPS disc and insert the new GPS disc. The NAV system will update itself.About the only thing you may have to do is reset the 'region' the Navigation system shows. Most of the time you dont have to do anything.
