We’ve just unlocked Vietnam to give you even more levels to enjoy, but the fun doesn’t stop there. Start spreading the news: even more exciting Mahjong Escape updates are just around the corner! We’re been working with JollyBear to expand the series beyond dynasties in a brand-new way while preserving the historical and cultural details that make Mahjong Escape unique. We brought Scott M., the head of JollyBear, back in for another interview so that we could ask him what he’s liked best about Mahjong Escape thus far. Pogo Community: Welcome back, Scott!

When you create badges for Mahjong Escape, what are you inspired? SM: The inspiration for a badge design can come from anywhere.

Here a couple of my favorite rank badges and the stories behind them: I was feeling hungry and had a craving for a home-made burger. But, I had no idea how to make a good one!

After a few searches online, I found some very tasty looking options. It also gave me a great idea for a Mahjong Escape badge, too. Specnaz project wolf pc download. I just replaced the bun with some tiles and the ‘Competitive Tile Eater Badge’ was born. I also had a great dinner, by the way! I am very fortunate to be able to work on a number of different projects.

One of those is Mahjong Escape, but I also have a great time working on the locations for Undiscovered World. Sometimes one game can provide good ideas for the other. The ‘Brassbeard’s Treasure’ adventure got me thinking about the ‘Timeless Treasure Badge’. A couple of tiles makes for a great pirate booty!

Pogo Community: How did you determine what the Reward Badges would be for each dynasty? SM: With Mahjong Escape, we’ve worked hard to incorporate information about each dynasty’s history in the game so players can learn a little as they play. Reward Badges give players more knowledge about each dynasty. Here are a few of my favorites: This is King Tutankhamun’s famous headdress, as found by the British Egyptologist, Howard Carter. Tut lived ruled for only a short time during Egypt’s ‘New Kingdom’ dynastic period. Often, the most common item that still remains from long ago when all else is lost is the currency of the time. Here is a coin from the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnam.

Scottish clans are known for their distinctive tartans. Probably the most famous Scottish tartan of them all belongs to the House of Stuart that ruled between 1603 and 1714.

Pogo Community: That extra bit of historical insight with each Reward Badge is something that makes Mahjong Escape truly unique. Will you be continuing that tradition with each new series? SM: Of course! Our next location has a rich and interesting history that players are sure to enjoy, and we have some fantastic Reward Badges to go along with it. Pogo Community: Thanks again for stopping by, Scott. SM: It was a pleasure, as always. Stay tuned for more updates about!

Beastforever5233 The Browsers are NOT changed by Pogo, but the companies that give them to us, and it is as a response to the malicious idiots who are hacking at the Internet trying to destroy it for the rest of us. Each change, of course, makes a new problem with glitches that Pogo has to deal with, same for all of us including us individually, learning how to do what we did before with new browser set-ups. The ones having the WORST time are the servers online, which are the main things the hackers are attacking. It makes everything more complicated, and has made java too dangerous, since it was too good a basic control platform for computers, so that the hackers can take them over more completely. Flash is not as complete, so tends to be less dangerous, is why Pogo and others are trying to change to it for games. Kinderly44 I agree, and I have decided not to renew my subscription. The daily “challenges” are never interesting or challenging anymore, and so many of the daily and weekly badges require playing the same hidden object episodes over and over again, or spending money to buy new episodes.

All games should be free for People who pay for Club Pogo subscriptions. That’s the way it used to be when I first joined many years ago. Now, with the added problems of the games not loading, it’s not worth the frustration. I spent a long time checking for problems on my desktop computer, and adjusting settings as needed.

I have a new, fast computer with three terabytes hard drive space, high speed processor, and a lot of RAM. I have the same problems with the laptop, too. Beastforever5233 Easy to blame Pogo, but they are not the problem — the hacking criminals are. Pogo, like us all, is made to do a LOT of work to simply try to keep us secure, we only see the difficulties and don’t connect them with the real culprit. The only reason Apple computers are safer is that the hackers don’t bother going for a mere 5% of the computers out, so they don’t try as hard to hurt the Apple computers, want to hurt as many as they can. And Apple now uses the same CPU chip-set, so they are likely more at risk also. They quit using the Motorola reduced instruction chips and now use Intel, same as the PC’s do, and if you RUN Windows on an Apple it is the SAME as a PC in terms of programming.

Also, if you define an Administrator password on a Mac, you open the can of worms that UNIX was so easily hackable. It was a very good control platform for mainframe computers other than that. The Mac OS 10 IS UNIX, but is safer from remote takeover as long as you DON’T assign the Administrator password. Kickstart111499 Really????????

I will be glad if Pogo decides to not allow comments. Not even a single nice comment!!! Cmon people you don’t like something LEAVE!!! No body has you tied to this web site.Something does not work right send a Nice message to Pogo i.e. I won the game but did not get credit stating what game you were playing Then when its fixed send another message saying TYreal people with real feelings work for Pogo Do you like it when people complain about what and how you do things?

Like I am doing right now? “climbs down off his soapbox now ” GO POGO!!!!! Marggierose You’d think with all the complaints and problems we are having playing POGO that the POGO staff would sit up and think hard about fixing all these problems before we all abandon this site. Way tooooo many glitches and taking a long time to deal with. What’s with that? The word on the Internet is that FLASH is a thing of the past and it will disappear eventually so what are POGO IT staff going to do about this? So many questions and not enough answers.

Long time player is getting more than a little frustrated. Thanks for listening.
